For Coaches/volunteers
Why should I register on CoachingSTW?
Registering on CoachingSTW will enable you at access a 'one stop shop' for information on coaching.
It will enable you to:
- Access information about coaching bursaries and grants that are available
- Increase your links into your CSP/NGB/local authority
- Gain access to information about coaching opportunities in STW
- Help us map the current coaching being done in STW
Am I suitable to apply for coaching opportunities offered on CoachingSTW?
If the answer to any of the following questions is yes, then you are someone we would love to hear from:

How do I access the benefits on offer on CoachingSTW?
Complete the comprehensive online application form. Once completed you will then be part of CoachingSTW and helping us provide a better service to you and to partners across STW.
What services do you provide other than coaching opportunities?
We provide opportunities to attend training courses, continuous professional development (CPD) courses including a mentor programme and help and advice to all who need it.
Is there any age restriction for registering with CoachingSTW?
Yes, due to regulations only people over 16 will be invited to apply and join CoachingSTW. There is no upper age limit for joining and we welcome people from a wide range of sports, ages and backgrounds.

What is CoachingSTW?
Coaching STW aims to be an online coaching system to handle the recruitment, employment and deployment of coaches within the partnership, and in doing so create a career path to help professionalise coaching and increase the quality of the coaching delivered in STW.
For Recruiters (Employers/Placement providers)
What are the benefits available to my company from registering on CoachingSTW?
The potential benefits from a recruiter (employer/placement provider) joining CoachingSTW:
- Access to quality sports coaches
- You will have the opportunity of viewing profiles and CV's from a number of coaches (if available)
- You will be able to provide feedback about the coach online
You will be informing Energize STW of the types of coaches required in STW so we can coordinate the right training and development for coaches.
Aside from offering suitably qualified coaches, what other services do you provide?
We can provide a newsletter to keep your organisation’s knowledge up to speed with all the latest developments in the Coaching and Sports Development fields. We can provide training opportunities for coaches already working in your organisation. We also can give help and advice of where to look for coaches.
What will it cost to register with CoachingSTW?
